It is very good site. I am proud of being an Egyptian live in England, I love my nationality and my country.

i was hope to write in Arabic because I like it more and I cannot speak English well but it is ok. I just want to express my admiration for the site and I like any thing speak about this war as I want to say really you cannot know how I am feeling when I read or hear anything about this war but, I want to know the real result of this war which side have more loses in the last day of the war, thank you and thanks for Egypt for Sadat and for any person who shared in this great war Salaam Alykom.

Yom Kippur Comment: There is no exact numbers for loses on both sides, Israel declare numbers of loses and Egypt declare another numbers of loses so this site doesn't has the real numbers of loses and this site care only for the results of the war which is Egypt gain more than 17 Kilometer in Sinai. Once I asked an Israeli, who said "you (Egypt) didn't win Yom-Kippur?"!! so why you gave back the land that you occupied after 1967 in Egyptian borders (Sinai)? because you are kind people or peace seekers?!!! why you gave back all Sinai????

Thanks a lot for this site, I always say that we Egyptians do not advertise or celebrate our victory and sacrifices as well as Israeli do . We need more to encourage and keep confidence especially we are the new generations who did not live those days of glory and honor. I was outside the house on that great day, Saturday, shopping with my family. As we returned home, I just switched the TV for the news and there I heard the great surprise of my life, The Egyptian soldiers raising The Egyptian flag on Bar-Lev line and watching the tanks moving slowly over the many bridges over the Suez Canal. I thought I was dreaming, but, it was true and the rest of the week end was the greatest EED (feast). When I returned to work on Monday, the happy news about the progress of the war continued and on lunch time I went out to listen to the news in my car, and the more I heard about the heroic deed the whole of the Egyptian Forces destroying the Israeli myth, the more I felt that the shame of defeat of 1967 war began to disappear from my memory. I must mention that during the dark and unhappy days of June of 1967, I was preparing for my exam, after three hard working years to obtain my Diploma as Medical Social worker, it was a tough time for me away from my country. I was in London, England. I had to struggle to get through my exam, and I did. However, to hear of the Egyptian daring and Egyptian determination to wipe out the shame of defeat has transformed me in a day and night and I was happy again to see Egypt and its people are cheerful again and proud to be Egyptian. Israel learnt its lesson and all that propaganda was just fake and Egypt prevailed once again, repeating its pages of triumph as always had done across its long and great history, as the land of peace, great civilization as well as home for great heroes.

I participated in this war as a battalion commander of SAM missiles in the  Egyptian Air defense. Till now I didn't read anything about what I really saw, there was many stories happened, should be known

This is the best website that talked about the war of October in an expanded way I wish for the author and the website to complete updates.

I am very glad to see this site. I lived during the war and used to travel a lot and meet people from different countries. The pain that I always had is the fact that people are not fully aware of our achievements during this GREAT WAR. The Israelis have done a relatively better job in convincing the world that they won this war. I am happy that, with this site, the truth is being told to the world and what we have lived and experienced of proud and joy during those days are well presented to the world. Well done and keep the GOOD work up insh'Allah
